Handcuffs from the Czech Republic!
We have something really special for you today: handcuffs from the Czech Republic! And these Ralkem handcuffs have something unique: a very strange key! Which means that you can’t escape with your standard key when you get arrested over there. So be careful not to get arrested in the Czech Republic! Are you from this country? Please comment below if you know more about these weird handcuffs!
I certainly didn’t know about them, but they are very rare and seem like fun.
This Ralkem handcuffs (9921 and 9927) are not used by Czech police actually, but Slovak police use them. Czech police use other type of handcuffs.
Czech police use RALK, with similar key and without doublelock. it is more strange and painful :-)
Have had their leg irons for some years. Very smooth action and the double lock is easy to use. The key is fiddly to use and I suspect that with the hinge cuffs , although the key slot can be accessed from both sides, because of the rotating barrel, they are difficult to get out of cuffed behind. The leg irons have a shorter chain than most.
More strange? We need those!
Hmm…
German Military Police uses them too.
